ContentsUpload Method
TrueUpdate contains several different upload options that can be used to publish the generated files. The option you should choose depends on where you decided to host the server configuration files on the Download Method page of the project wizard. You can publish your server configuration files using FTP, SFTP, or by copying the file, or you can bypass this decision all together. If you want to change these settings later, they can be found on the Upload tab of the Build Settings dialog. You can access that dialog by choosing Publish > Settings... from the program menu.
Don't worry about the upload settings now. I will handle the uploading myself or configure it when I'm ready to publish my project.
Upload the server configuration files using FTP when publishing.
Upload the server configuration files using SFTP when publishing. SFTP transfers data securely over SSH layer using AES, DES, and BLOWFISH encryption.
Copy the server configuration files to a local or network folder when publishing.
Go back to the Server Files Prefix page.
The next project wizard page is based on the upload method selected. It will be one of the following pages:
Version Identification
TrueUpdate Server Upload Settings - FTP
TrueUpdate Server Upload Settings - SFTP
TrueUpdate Server Upload Settings - File Copy
Exit the project wizard. Exiting the project wizard means that all information that has been entered in the wizard will be lost and a blank project will be created.
