ContentsDownload Method
TrueUpdate contains several different download options that can be used by the TrueUpdate client to download the server configuration files. The option you should choose depends on where you plan to host the server configuration files generated by TrueUpdate. You can host them on a Web server, FTP site, or a local area network (LAN). These settings can be found on the TrueUpdate Servers tab of the Project Settings dialog. You can access that tab by choosing Project > TrueUpdate Servers... from the program menu.
Note: If while running your update, you receive error 3624 and you have already confirmed that all of the server configuration files have been properly uploaded, make sure that the *.ts* extensions are part of the MIME types list on the server.
You will be hosting the server configuration files on a Web server.
You will be hosting the server configuration files on Web server that utilizes the secure version of HTTP, HTTPS.
You will be hosting the server configuration files on an FTP site.
You will be hosting the server configuration files on a local area network (LAN) or local drive.
Go back to the Multilingual Settings page.
The next project wizard page is based on the download method selected. It will be one of the following pages:
TrueUpdate
Server Download Settings - HTTP
TrueUpdate Server Download Settings - HTTPS
TrueUpdate Server Download Settings - FTP
TrueUpdate Server Download Settings - LAN
Exit the project wizard. Exiting the project wizard means that all information that has been entered in the wizard will be lost and a blank project will be created.
