MSI Factory

This dialog lets you configure changes that will happen to the registry during installation. You can create the following kinds of registry actions by clicking the Add button:

Add Registry Key

Add a key to the registry. Use the Add Registry Key dialog to configure the action.

Remove Registry Key

Remove a key from the registry. Use the Remove Registry Key dialog to configure the action.

Add Registry Value

Add or set a value in the registry. Use the Add Registry Value dialog to configure the action.

Remove Registry Value

Remove a value from the registry. Use the Remove Registry Value dialog to configure the action.

Once you have added an action to the list you can edit it using the Edit button or remove it using the Remove button.

Import

Registry Values

Opens the Import Registry Key/Values dialog where you can select Registry keys or values from your development system so they can be automatically converted into Registry actions that will recreate its structure.

Reg File

Opens a file browse dialog where you can select a .REG file that you would like to recreate using MSI Factory Registry actions.

DLL/OCX Registration

Opens the Import DLL Registration dialog where you can scan a DLL/OCX file in your project to create the necessary registration values using MSI Factory Registry actions.
