Program Menus

Add Files...

Opens the Add Files to Project dialog that you can use to add new files to your Setup Factory project. You can also access this menu item using the Insert key.

Tip: You can customize the file filters for adding files by editing a file called _add_files_filters.txt located in Setup Factory's "Data" folder.

Add Folder Reference...

Opens a Folder Browse dialog where you can specify what folder you would like to reference in your project. Once a folder is specified, the Folder Reference Properties dialog is shown where you can customize its settings. You can also access this menu using Ctrl+Insert.

Remove Selected

Removes the currently selected files or folder references from the project. If no file or folder reference is selected, this option will not be available. You can also access this menu item using Delete key.

File Properties...

If a single file is selected, the Single File Properties dialog is opened. If multiple files are selected, the Multiple File Properties dialog is opened. If a single folder reference is selected, the Single Folder Reference Properties dialog is opened. If multiple folder references are selected, the Multiple Folder Reference Properties dialog is opened. You can access this menu item using Ctrl+Enter.

Session Variables...

Opens the Project Settings dialog to the Session Variables tab where you can define the session variables that will be used in your project.

Background Window...

Opens the Project Settings dialog to the Background tab where you can configure the background window of your setup.

System Requirements...

Opens the Project Settings dialog to the Requirements tab where you can configure the installation's system requirements.

Log Files...

Opens the Project Settings dialog to the Logs tab where you can enable the generation of a log file during the installation process.

Advanced Settings...

Opens the Project Settings dialog to the Advanced tab where you can configure settings such as silent installs, user profile settings for shortcuts, the install icon, and setup manifest.

Skin

Opens the Project Settings dialog to the Skin tab where you can apply a skin file to the setup runtime.

Screens...

Opens the Screens dialog where you can specify and manage what screens you would like to display during your install.

Actions...

Opens the Actions dialog where you can create any actions that are needed during your install. These actions would be created on the project events.

Packages...

Opens the Packages dialog where you can create and manage the packages for your install.

Languages...

Opens the Languages dialog where you can define what languages you want to support in your install.

Serial Numbers...

Opens the Security dialog to the Serial Numbers tab where you can configure the serial number lists you wish to include in your install.

Expiration...

Opens the Security dialog to the Expiration tab where you can enable the setup to expire given certain criteria.
