    Training Training Training

    Hi,

I have been using AMS for almost a year and am just about to upgrade to 5.x
First of all AMS is a great product! Secondly all the answers I ever need are in these forums (unfortunately it took me a while to realize how useful forums can be).

I am a good self learner but can see the value in the training CD's. I heard about an advanced training CD and would be keen to find out when it will be available. Also I was wondering if there is actual training vids created by just users (not as professional)?

I read a very old post saying that someone was thinking about making a Flash MX & AMS instructional CD.

    Thanks for your time.

Hi. Well the dust has settled and it looks like there will be only one more training CD for now, the advanced one, but there's no release date. When it's out I will announce it. Hope that helps.

Hi. Thanks Shooter. Just so you know it will be at least a couple weeks before it is released, possibly a month or so.

Both CDs are killer and are very detailed and easy to follow. I'd recommend them to anyone.

              :lol no pressure!

I'm a man that works with deadlines for media projects all the time! I hate them.

Before the summer is good enough for me. I don't even have AMS 5 yet. I'll have my own learning curve before you can hit me with the hard stuff

              Shooter.

Yes I'll make sure "by summer" to have it out. I have to have it out before skateboard season at any rate because, once that hits, "spare time" takes on a whole new meaning.

Not trying to spam too much, but I might as well ask a question.

I know there are little samples here and there, but has anyone ever mounted a truly incredible final project for download?

Something that pushes AMS to the extreme? Just curious.

                  Shooter.

                    Questions are always welcome.

Not that I know of. Possibly people don't want to give away something they've invested a large amount of time into, not sure...

My projects are always promotional in nature. Therefore free free free, but at the same time simple simple simple!

Just FYI we are looking at releasing a bunch of pre-built, ready-to-use professional templates which would be perfect for that usage, i.e. just pop them open, swap out the text, and publish. They're awesome looking!

However there's no release date predicted, i.e. once they're out, they're out. So this is a very general, very advance, non-committal, pre-announcement but I thought you'd like to know anyhow.
