Project Wizard

TrueUpdate supports the use of multiple languages in your update. This project wizard page allows you to select the languages you would like to support in your update. If you need to add languages later, you can add them on the Languages dialog, found by choosing Project > Languages... from the program menu.

What languages do you want your update to support?

The languages that will be supported by your update. Check the boxes beside each language you would like to support.

Note: Not all languages contain pre-made message files and translated screens. Languages that are currently installed will show a "*" character beside its name. Most language modules are installed with TrueUpdate, but any additional language modules that are available can be downloaded from TrueUpdate's web site, www.trueupdate.com. In the case where one is not available, it is up to the developer to create the translated message file (.XML) and screens, or use the default language's message file and screens.

Which language should be used by default?

The language that your update will use by default. If the user's detected language is not present in the supported language list, the update will use this language for its messages and screens.
