OverviewSettings
The Languages tab is used to display the languages currently supported by your update. When a language is supported, this means that if that language is detected, it will use the associated message file and use that language's screen translations if applicable. The language message files are stored in XML (.xml) for easy editing and creation.
A list of all of the languages that are currently supported in the project.
The names of the languages currently added to the update.
Whether or not the language is the default language for this project. This is set to TRUE if the language is the default language, and blank if it is not. If the user's detected language is not present in the supported language list, the update will use this language for its messages and screens.
Note: There can only be one default language per update.
The full paths to the XML language message files. You will find the available language files in the "Languages" subfolder of the main TrueUpdate directory.
Note: If a language is added that currently does not have an available message file, "[Same as Default Language]" will appear. In the case where there is no pre-made message file for that language, the "Default" message file will be used. You can create and translate your own message files if a pre-made file is not available.
Opens the Add New Language dialog where you can add a new language to be supported by your update.
Removes the currently selected language from your update.
Note: You cannot remove the default language. If you wish to remove that particular language, first set a different language to be the default language for the update.
Set the currently selected language to be "Default" language. This means that if the detected language is not supported by your update, or if one of the supported languages does not have a message file associated with it, this language's message file will be used.
Opens your default web browser to a web site where you can download additional language modules to use in your projects.
