The background window is a large window that your uninstallation window will sit on at runtime. The background window may be a solid color, gradient color, or even an image. Below are the settings used to configure how this background window should look throughout your uninstall.
Show a background window behind the main uninstallation window.
Show a title bar and border for the background window.
Show a border around the background window with no title bar.
Make the background window cover the entire screen without a title bar or border.
Make the background window a solid color. Click
the select button ( ) to bring
up a color chooser.
Create a gradient color background by blending two colors
together. The first color represents the color that will appear at the
top of the background window and the second color represents the bottom
color that it will be blended into. You can click the select button ( ) to bring up a color chooser for
each color.
Insert an image into the background window. Click the Browse button to select the image file you want to use. The following image formats are supported:
*.bmp; *.gif; *.jpg; *.pcx; *.png; *.tga; *.tif
Note: The specified image file will be stretched to fit the dimensions of the background window.
The text that will appear along the top of the background
window. You can click the Font
button to choose the font you want to use for the text, and the select
( ) button to choose the text
color.
Align the heading text to the left hand side of the background window.
Center the heading text on the background window.
Align the heading text to the right hand side of the background window.
Give the heading text a three-dimensional effect. You
can click the select ( ) button
to choose the text shadow color you want to use.
The text that will appear below the heading text on
the background window. You can click the Font
button to choose the font you want to use for the text and the select
( ) button to choose the text
color.
Align the subheading text to the left hand side of the background window.
Center the subheading text on the background window.
Align the subheading text to the right hand side of the background window.
Give the subheading text a three-dimensional effect.
You can click the select ( )
button to choose the text shadow color you want to use.
The text that will appear along the bottom of the background
window. You can click the Font
button to choose the font you want to use for the text and the select
( ) button to choose the text
color.
Align the footer text to the left hand side of the background window.
Center the footer text on the background window.
Align the footer text to the right hand side of the background window.
Give the footer text a three-dimensional effect. You
can click the select ( ) button
to choose the text shadow color you want to use.
