MSI Factory

This dialog is used to assign a message ID to a localizable field. This will then allow you to switch between the literal text (containing the message ID) and the translated text using the Translate button beside the edit field.

Create a new message ID (Default)

If selected, you can create a new message ID that will be used for the field.

Message ID:

The new unique identifier for the message.

Default text (all languages):

The text that should be assigned to the message ID. The text you enter will be assigned to the message ID for all languages currently in your project. You can use the Languages dialog to localize it for each language.

Use an existing message ID

If selected, you can select an existing message ID to use in the field instead of creating a new one.

Existing message ID:

The message ID of an existing message. You can click the Find button to choose from a list of all message IDs.
