Show New Project dialog

Shows the Start a New Project dialog, allowing a choice of creating a new project with or without the wizard, or opening an existing project. You can bypass the dialog by clicking on the Cancel button.

Undo/Redo

Levels:

The maximum number of changes that will be undo-able in MSI Factory. (Set this to 0 to disable the undo/redo feature.)

File Properties

Create shortcuts for files with extensions:

The file extensions that MSI Factory will by default create shortcuts for when files are added to the project. Enter a list of file extensions (without the '.') delimited by semi-colons. For example: exe;hlp;chm;bat;com. This relates to the settings on the Shortcuts tab of the File Properties dialog.

Register all TrueType .TTF files

If checked, all TrueType .TTF files will be automatically registered with the user's system when installed. This relates to the Font setting on the Registration tab of the File Properties dialog.

Merge Modules

Automatically search for dependent modules before searching

If checked, MSI Factory will automatically try to find a missing dependency merge module before prompting for an action to be taken. If unchecked, you will be prompted before a search is started. Merge module dependencies are scanned for when you add a new merge module to your project or when you click the "Scan Dependencies" button on the Merge Modules dialog.

Project File (Restart Required for Changes to Take Effect)

Save time and date information for each file

If checked, the creation time and date of each file in the project's file list is saved in the project file.

Save version information for each file

If checked, the version information of each file in the project's file list is saved in the project file.
