Reserve Cost

A list of reserve cost items that allow you to specify additional disk space that the component will need in any directory. This is in addition to the size of the files contained in the component. For example, if one of the files in the component creates or extracts data files when run you will want to reserve extra space for those data files.

Click the Add button to open the Reserve Cost dialog and add a new item to the list.

Isolated Components

A list of shared components that this component wants to isolate during installation. Isolating another component means that a copy of the component (usually a shared DLL) will be copied to the same folder as this component (usually an EXE). Isolated components are those components that have the "Shared DLL reference count" option turned on.

Click the Add button to open the Isolate Components dialog and add new items to the list.
