The General Information page is the first page of the Project Wizard that allows you to configure your company information, as well as the encryption key that will be used to encrypt the server configuration files that will be made available on your server or network.
Your company name, for example Indigo Rose Software. This value will be stored in the built-in session variable %CompanyName%.
Your product's name, for example TrueUpdate. This value will be stored in the built-in session variable %ProductName%.
The encryption key you want to use to encrypt the server configuration files for this project. Each time the project wizard is started, TrueUpdate will automatically generate an encryption key for you, but you can change it if you wish. We recommend the encryption key be longer than 16 characters in length. This setting can be found on the Options tab of the Project Settings dialog, which can be found by choosing Project > Options... from the program menu.
Proceed to the next project wizard page, Interface Type.
Exit the project wizard. Exiting the project wizard means that all information that has been entered in the wizard will be lost and a blank project will be created.
