Project Wizard

The Project Wizard is a user friendly means of creating a new project. The wizard allows you to specify your personal/company information, define your versions and version file lists along with key files, choose a theme for your patch, and configure a handful of other features. The project wizard can be used to create a simple, fully functioning patch, with no further configuration from you.

To access the Project Wizard, choose File > New from the program menu.

The project wizard contains a series of pages that are shown to allow you to make choices and collect information. See the Contents topic for a list of the project wizard pages you may encounter when creating a new project.

Note: You can optionally disable the Project Wizard from displaying whenever a new project is created by checking the Stop showing Project Wizard option from within the Project Wizard, or from the document preferences dialog. You can access the program preferences by choosing Edit > Preferences from the program menu if you wish to re-enable the Project Wizard.
