Project Settings

The Project Settings dialog is where you can configure various patch settings for your project. One section allows you to define a series of built-in and custom session variables for your patch. These are used as dynamic placeholders for commonly used values such as destination paths and product names.

Another category of settings found here is the project theme settings. Project themes are a set of visual attributes that are applied to all of the screens in your patch to give them a uniform look and feel. These attributes include the color, banner styles, images, text fonts and many more.

The third category of settings apply to the background window of your patch. The background window is a large window that your main patch window will sit on at runtime. The background window may be a solid color, gradient color, or even an image.

The Advanced section contains a few advanced settings for your patch such as backup options, rollback support, legacy file deletion,  silent mode switches, advanced icon and taskbar representations, and log file generation settings.
