ContentsUpdate Method
Once TrueUpdate has determined that an update is required from the version detection phase, there needs to be a way to get the installed version of the application updated to the target version. This project wizard page provides a couple methods for updating the application. The most common method is by running an installer or patch file. For other available options, you can choose the custom method.
Make the client download and run a single install or patch executable to update the application.
Choose from a list of custom update templates.
Go to the previous project wizard page.
The next project wizard page is based on the update method selected. It will be one of the following pages:
Installer/Patch
Download Method
Custom Update Method
Exit the project wizard. Exiting the project wizard means that all information that has been entered in the wizard will be lost and a blank project will be created.
