Build Settings

Build configuration:

The build configuration you want to use when generating your final setup. The drop down contains all of the current build configurations. A build configuration contains all previously saved information on the Setup File, Constants, Code Signing, Resources, and Pre/Post Build tabs. Beyond the information on the build settings dialog, build configurations also include dependency modules, primer files, script files, plugins, serial number lists, file lists, and folder reference lists.

Add ( )

Opens the New Build Configuration dialog where you can create a new build configuration in your project.

Remove ( )

Removes the current build configuration from your project.

Note: There must be at least one build configuration in your project.

Rename ( )

Renames the current build configuration.

Custom Icon

Use custom icon

If checked, you can use a custom icon for the setup executable.

Path to local icon file:

The full path and filename of the icon file (.ico) to use for the setup executable. You can click the Browse button to select an icon file.

Custom Version Information

Stamp executable with custom information

If checked, you can stamp the setup executable with your own custom version information.

File version:

The file version. For example, "1.0.0.19". If you leave out any digits they will be replaced with zeros. If this field is empty, version "1.0.0.0" will be used.

Product version:

The product version. For example, "1.0.0.19". If you leave out any digits they will be replaced with zeros. If this field is empty, version "1.0.0.0" will be used.

Comments:

Comments about the product. Often this field is used for a company or product's Web page address, but it can be anything you want.

Company name:

Your company name. For example, "Indigo Rose Software."

Product name:

The name of the product. For example, "My Nifty Application."

Internal name:

The internal name of the product. Usually the same as the Product name.

File description:

A short description about the purpose of the published executable. For example, "My Nifty Application runtime."

Copyright:

A copyright notice for the product. For example, "Copyright © 2019 - Indigo Rose Software."

Trademarks:

Trademark notices for the product.

Private build:

Any 'private build' notes that may apply.

Special build:

Any 'special build' notes that may apply.
