Anti-aliasing

Anti-aliasing is a process that "smooths" out the jagged edges between solid colors by adding intermediate colors to fill the "gaps." This creates an illusion that gives diagonal lines smooth edges and makes curves seem round instead of "stair-stepped."

In AutoPlay, you can choose whether to enable or disable anti-aliasing for any text displayed in a label, button, paragraph, checkbox or radiobutton object.

To do so, select the object, click on the Font setting, and click the edit button to open the Font dialog. When the Font dialog appears, click on the check box to toggle the Anti-alias option on or off.

Tip: Generally, it's better to leave the Anti-alias option enabled. However, you may want to disable it when you're using very small font sizes, as anti-aliasing can make small text difficult to read.

Note: When the Anti-alias option is disabled, text will be drawn according to the system-wide "font-smoothing" setting on the user's system. So even if the Anti-alias option is disabled in AutoPlay, the text might still be anti-aliased if the user has the "Smooth edges of screen fonts" option enabled in their display settings.
