In AutoPlay's design environment, it is possible to maintain the aspect ratio (the width to height ratio) of your objects while resizing. This is useful, for example, when you wish to resize an image object but do not want the picture to appear squished.
To maintain the aspect ratio of any object in AutoPlay's design environment:
Select your desired object by single clicking on it.
Right click on the object that you just selected.
Click on Keep Aspect.
Note: If Keep Aspect has a checkmark next to it then the option is already enabled.
Note: Even though a label object's right click menu has the Keep Aspect option, it is permanently set to maintain its aspect ratio. It is not possible to turn this option off.
To temporarily maintain the aspect ratio of an object, hold down the Ctrl and Shift keys together while resizing the object. Temporarily maintaining the aspect ratio of an object only applies to resizing an object with the mouse, changing the dimensions in the properties pane with Ctrl and Shift held down will not maintain the aspect ratio.
