Example 1

short_version = File.GetShortName ("C:\\Program Files\\Setup Factory 8.0\\SUF80Design.exe");

Gets the "8.3" version of the file path "C:\Program Files\Setup Factory 8.0\SUF80Design.exe" and stores it in the variable "short_version." The result will look similar to "C:\PROGRA~1\SETUPF~3.0\SUF80D~1.EXE."
