Run Time

Run time refers to when the actual AutoPlay application is run—typically as the result of a user having placed your compact disc into a CD-ROM drive so it can auto-play. This is where the interface you customized during design time is presented to the user as a finished AutoPlay application.

When you preview your project, you're essentially taking a peek at how your application will perform at run time. When you build your application, burn it to a CD-ROM, and run it, you are actually experiencing "run time" first-hand.
