In this example, we'll use a "Registry - Set Value" action to store the current date in the Registry.
Here's what the action list looks like:

First, we use a "" action to get the current date in ISO format (which is good for sorting alphabetically) and store it in a variable called %Date%.

Then, we use a "" action to copy the value from our %Date% variable into the Registry.
