Creating a new project is as simple as clicking on the 'New Project' icon in the toolbar. All you have to do to customize your patch is enter your product's name and version information. You can also adjust which screens are visible in the patch at this point, and include a license agreement if necessary.

Tell Visual Patch Express where to find your old and new files, as well as what 'key file' identifies each version, and you've finished configuring your patch. Files up to 2 GB are supported. The last step is to actually build your patch executable. Simply tell Visual Patch Express where to output your single-file patch executable file, and click the 'Build' button in the toolbar.
