About the Support and Maintenence Plan
We release product updates that contain new features and improvements to existing features throughout the year - not just with major version releases. When you purchase a new product license* it includes access to these updates for one full year. After your Support and Maintenance Plan ends, you can renew it and keep getting these valuable updates or simply continue to use any previously released version of your product.
Renewing Your Support and Maintenence Plan
Simply login to your customer account and you'll see your renewal date. In general, you can expect a 60% discount off of the retail price if you renew within 30 days of expiration. Otherwise, an expired plan can be renewed for about a 40% discount. You do not have to renew your maintenance plan in order to keep using a previously released version of your product.
* Includes AutoPlay Media Studio 7.0, DeltaMAX! 1.0, TrueUpdate 3.0, Visual Patch 3.0, Visual Patch Express 1.0 and higher versions. All other products and earlier versions include three months of major version upgrade protection, free minor version updates and email technical support until a newer version has been available for six months.
