Can I change the properties of objects at runtime?

Yes! Objects in AutoPlay Media Studio 8 have corresponding easy-to-use actions allowing you to retrieve the existing object properties, and set new properties at runtime. As well, you can create and destroy objects at runtime through actions.

Is there a free version of AutoPlay Media Studio 8?

There was. The ‘Personal Edition’ was discontinued on January 25, 2012. We gave out 12,193 free copies of AutoPlay Media Studio Personal Edition. It was intended to be used for personal and open-source projects. Unfortunately, it was also used for business/commercial projects. Far too many of them in fact, and we had to shut it down. Anyone who registered the software up to 1/25/2012 is free to continue using it for personal projects only. No new registrations are available.
