    msinet.ocx

    Can anyone help me..trying to run a pc game using setup 6.0 but when I click on the game, it says runtime error "339" msinet.ocx file may not be registerd and I can't figure it out. Can anyone help?

    Not sure off hand. You should contact the company that sold the game to you for support. Since they published the install we cannot know what files are being installed and what the issue could be.

    Just guessing, but you could find that file on the Internet and use regsvr32.exe to register the file. regsvr32.exe can be called from command line and you could send the path to the ocx as a parameter.

    If not solved, I would consult the DLL Help Database

    You will see in this instance that the file is part of recent operating systems, development languages and Office amongst others. So, as Adam states, the original supplier of the SETUP needs to be contacted.
