    Video playback is stuttered

Just need a suggestion on this one. I have a video about 3 minutes long - using File.Open media player to play it. When being played on the harddrive, it looks great, no stuttering - but when played on CD, it is impossible to watch because it stutters so much. Now, the video is 720 X 480 NTSC DV, so this might be the problem. I am re-rendering it as Cinepac right now to bring down the file size, but I was wondering if anyone has a tried and true method of video that will enable it to run 'stutter-free'. Thanks
