    i love buttons !

Hi everybody, i'm from france so forgive me for my bad english.
Autoplay media studio is a very great software.
Here is my problem : i can't afford workshop cds yet so i want to create my own buttons or modify AMS buttons. Is there a way to do that in AMS (in order to obtain "normal state", "mouseover state" and "click state"). I tried the button creator but i could change only the text and not the image. The only solution was to load different images. This means that i must create or modify each png image with another software ! Too long.
So i tried to use Crystal buttons to create my own buttons and import images in AMS button creator. But when i add a background, there's a blank square all around my image and i can't avoid it !
    What can i do ?
Is there a way to edit btn files in order to access the images and modify them ? Is there a way to use buttons from crystal buttons in AMS, and AMS buttons in crystal buttons. Or may i use others software ?

Thank you very much in advance !

If you look in Gallery/buttons, copy & rename a btn file as a Zip file.

You will then be able to open with WinRar / WinZip.

    This file will contain:

    _manifest.xml
    up.png
    over.png
    disabled.png
    down.png

Do with them what you will.

    Hey noonmoon!
Did you ever figure out your button issue? I picked up a copy of Crystal buttons and found it to be a fairly good program.

I like a little more freedom using Photoshop but... you should be able to do all the basic stuff you requested with Crystal buttons. If not, let me know and i'll throw you together some sweet buttons.

    You have to ask Corey,
if I'm right there is a cap.mov file available that shows how to create Buttons with Photshop. Its size is 18 MB.

I'm not sure where that got off to. I'll have a look around...
