How about adding the ability to have a custom splash screen? I checked through the suggestions and didn't see it anywhere so thought I'd give the suggestion, i'm sure this topic has come up at one time or another. Say add a splash screen to the screen gallery. You plug in the size of screen you want or have it resize to fit the image you use. Stick a progress bar on it.
