evaluation copy

i have purchased the pro deluxe suite package and was wondering if i need to delete the evaluation version before installing the new version.....and if so, i already have a project made from the eval copy that i don't want to lose.....any specific instructions ....thanks, dan

Just in case,
Backup your project in a different location.
Remove the Evaluation and install your licensed edition.
If your project is not in My Documents\AutoPlay Media Studio 5.0 Projects
Just copy it back…
For me it went smoothly… without losing any data.

Hello,

AutoPlay (Commercial versions) and evaluation versions can 'co-exist' on the same system, however to prevent confusion (publishing a project with the evaluation version and distributing), we strongly suggest uninstalling the eval.

Best way to back-up your projects is to export them (File --> Export, if memory serves me right). That will save your project file, and all of your project's resources in one, easy to manage/move/whatever file.

The uninstall will NOT remove any of your projects, ever. The uninstall only removes files that it installed. So, since your projects were created after installation they will be fine. There is no worries on the uninstall as far as created work goes.
