    choppy audio

I've loaded a wav file in the backround channel and let it autoplay and loop but it is choppy and distorted, also tried loading multiple wav files in user1 to 4 channels and same problem. why is this happening ?

Are the wav files being loaded from a CD-ROM or the hard drive?

    choppy audio

from the hard drive, the files play fine using winamp and media player. i've tried converting them to .ogg format and still the same problem. i just noticed that the same choppiness/distortion occurs in a less extent but nevertheless is present while previewing the clips in am5.
