continuous avi play

How can you play an embedded avi continuously?

What you could do is add a PLAY AVI Object action to the VIDEO FINISH tab of your AVI object. This will begin playing the video again once it finishes.

I already did this but I just want it to play just as long as I have the mouse over a button, so I want it to end play once it leaves. Is this possible?

definitely possible! actions can be assigned to a 'play button' object in this way:

mouse over: play AVI object (of your choice)
mouse leave: stop AVI object
