Is it possible for third parties (us) to create our own page transitions? If so, how?
Having this feature in AMS5 is a welcome relief, but I'd like to think we aren't limited to the few that come supplied as standard.
Can anyone shed any light?

All you need to do is sign up for the SDK. You'll need to know a bit about C++ and Windows GDI.
So, the answer is yes, third parties can develop tranistions, and action plugins, and object plugins...
You can find some of the third party stuff that Worm (and others) has done on autorun.org
