Cool Shamless plug for my wife's cat

My wife's cat found a sunbeam yesterday, while the sun was still shining that is. And as I walked down stairs, I thought to myself, the way the sun came in through the windows and where he was sitting it would make a fun background for an AMS 5 project. So here it is, thought I would share. I have two pics that could be used as a background, one light(flash fired) and one dark(no flash). I thought the dark one looked better with the silver buttons and panels.

    Anywho here it is:

    Hey TJ_Tigger,

Nice image, and it's weird because it really does make for a nice AutoPlay background.

You're right, that does make a good background. The way Willie is looking over at the content is pretty cool.

    Nice photo, tig.

I was just talking about that with Adam the other day.

My cat BooBoo is in a civil war re-enactment society with a few of the other neighborhood cats. They put on a variety of productions, I believe tommorrow is "The Battle of Gettsyburg". The historical accuracy gets questionable at times but you get what you pay for.

    *Update*

I went out on the deck to grab a breath of air. We have a roll of carpet currently leaned against the side of our house on the deck. About 12' high and 2 feet diameter. As I went through the patio door, my cat came shooting by and ran straight up the carpet roll, past my head. He stood up at the top for a while, looking around the yard with an extremely Napoleonic expression on his face then he went to descend.

I forgot that his civil war re-enactment society was meeting tonight.

Anyhow *this* is where it gets interesting, never saw a cat do this before, only squirrels.

His method of descending involves doing several sideways 360 degree rotations, clinging madly all the while, until he gets low enough to jump. It looks like what's happening is that he's trying to go straight down but then he changes his mind and turns sideways at which point he changes his mind and goes upright at which point he changes his mind and goes sideways, and so forth. Never seen anything like it, pure silliness.

Bear in mind that his facial expression, the whole while, never belied his dillema, he always makes a point of looking completely in control *especially* when he isn't.

Like last night, I was having tea and looking out our bay window and suddenly I saw my cat coming up the street. He was all confident, walking slow like a lion, king of all he surveyed, walking calmly down the dead center of the street (cars are not an issue for lions). Anyhow suffice to say he was looking all tough and walking slow like cats do when they're feeling their oats. I watched him proceed down the street like that, like Stallone in Flatbush.

Anyhow he went down the whole street like that and around the corner and I was very impressed. Then suddenly, and I'm not sure what was around that corner, but he came shooting straight back down the street full-speed+ like a little white blur, never seen anything move that fast before. But the main point is that I got a good look at his face even while he was doing his panicked high speed retreat and his expression gave no hint of anything unordinary. Even in full panic his expression was like Abe Vigoda in a shoe store.

I'm not sure if Abe Vigoda was at Gettysburg, but if he was, my cat had that role nailed tonight.

Just don't let him know that you saw him. It might hurt his catego. Willie hunts a stuffed Gorilla (Dick) when he thinks no one is around. My wife will leave with the kids in the morning and he will start to howl and I know exactly what he is doing. Then if I go to refresh my coffee he acts like nothing was happening at all.
