    How to make a ShortCut to a Directory

    I am making a setup to Install Quite a few documents into a folder .Docs and .Pdf files I want to place a ShortCut to this Folder/Directory into the program files of start menu for easy access to these documents so far I have only found instructions on how to make a ShortCut to a FILE in the menu NOT a FOLDER is this possible or am I just using the wrong syntax in the ShortCut create an action area?? Any help is greatly appreciated thanks

    All you need to do is add a "Create Shortcut" action to the "After Installing" section. For the "Target file" field just fill in the folder you want for your shortcut.

    LOL 3 days later after reading reading reading I was all but sure it was imposble such a quick simple answer thanks 1 more question if i have several folder inside the the first to shortcut to those I need to make a seprate action After installing

    Action properties > Create Shortcut > after installing > Target Folder
    %AppDir%Rpg Documentz\Complete Spell Cards

    to make it Shortcut to the FOLDER?

    If I have understood your question correctly, if you wish to have shortcuts to sub-folders of your document folder then yes you need to have separate "Create Shortcut" actions.

    Also as an additional note, you will need to add "Remove Shortcut" actions to the Uninstall section as the shortcuts you create will not get automatically removed.
