A question on Flash animations

Hi everybody
I have the following problem: I would like to design an interactive
CD-Menu which is build of Macromedia Flash elements. The problem is, I don´t understand how to make the separate Flash objects interact with each other, like when the mouse cursor meats a specific flash area, this area should change to another flash file etc.
Does anybody have an idea how to achieve such kind of menu?

PS: I would like to create the CD-Menu ONLY of Flash elements.

Sure I can help you out. Flash objects in AMS use FScommands to communicate with each other, you can communicate freely back and forth as much as you like.

Please give me a specific example of a single task you wish to achieve and I will build you an example file.

Lets say something like: a button which has different states, means, none<>over<>down;
if the mouse pointer is over this button object, the button's image (flash image) should be replaced by another image( flash image or animation), like changing the state;
if the mouse pointer is taken back again, the button changes to the original state

the very specific tricky thing, gues you can also achieve this one :
if the user clicks on the button, another element of the menu reacts to this "down" state of the button, lets say, it changes from one flash animation to another ( hmm, something like: there is a logo on the screen, and if the user clicks on the button, the Logo rotates around one of the axes, or just changes to some simple flash animation :-) )

Hi. Yeah, that's why I say one specific task. Tell you what, build it the way you want and then I will fix it. I simply don't have time today to parse through that and try to create a complete project wth a variety of supporting flash animations... Sorry.
