SUMMARY

This document provides development notes for the Visual FoxPro 8.0 runtime module that is used with Setup Factory 6.0.

DISCUSSION

Module Description

All programs developed with Microsoft Visual FoxPro 8.0 require a set of core runtime files in order to run. When this runtime module is added to a Setup Factory 6.0 project, the appropriate core set of files will be installed with your application.

Note: This module requires version 6.0.1.3 of Setup Factory to function correctly. If a previous version is used, you may encounter registration errors.

Developer Notes

The Setup Factory 6.0 Visual FoxPro 8.0 runtime support module installs the following files on the user's system:

VFP8T.DLL
VFP8R.DLL
VFP8RENU.DLL
MSVCR70.DLL
GDIPLUS.DLL

MSVCR70.DLL will be installed to the users system directory, represented by "%SysDir%". The rest of the files will be installed to the users Visual FoxPro Common files directory, represented by: "%CommonFiles%\Microsoft Shared\VFP"

The files are not installed as a "whole". If the user has a newer version of VFP8T.DLL on their computer, but the rest of their files are older, VFP8T.DLL will not be installed but the rest of the Visual FoxPro runtime support module will be.
