    SWF stops and no sound

    Using Autoplay 4.0

Making a page with an SWF file.
    Properties: starting automatically.
    Building the Autoplay .exe file

Now I start the Autoplay .exe file, choose the page with the SWF movie.

    Result
    1. The movie starts but stops after about one minute.
    2. The sound of the movie is NOT audible.

Now I click on the Stop button of the movie.
    Click on the Play button.

    Result
    1. The movie starts and plays till the end of the movie.
    2. The sound of the movie is audible.

When I use the same SWF file in a HTML file (which I don't want to use for my CD-ROM) I have no problems.

It looks like Autoplay does not work well with .SWF file.

How can this problem be solved.

Please update to the latest version of AutoPlay by going to HELP > CHECK FOR UPDATE first, then let me know once you have done that and I'll help you out no probs... It's important to install the latest patches if you are seeking reliable performance as they contain important fixes.

Ah, OK I misunderstood when you said 4.0. Next time please PM your screencap to me instead of posting it here in public, thanks...

OK then please post your .swf, this sounds like a problem with your flash. AMS works superbly with Flash, I have tested it myself in dozens of limit-stretching scenarios and with lots of different .swf content. I'm really confident in AMS vis-a-vis Flash, and I'm not one to say things like that off the cuff. I'm sure if you post your .swf I can get to the bottom of this...

OK Raymond, got your file. Works fine here. Here's what I did:

    1. Create a new blank project, in your case 801 X 605 since that's the dimension of your .swf.

    2. Drag 'n drop the .swf onto the stage and align it to the page.

That's it. From there it runs fine for me. The controls work fine too. So try that and then let me know what happens. If need be I can post this project file for you as long as you don't mind your .swf being posted here...

    I followed your instructions.
Still having the same problem on my main computer.
Now I copied the autoplay file on another computer.

    Now it's working.

    Thanks for your Help.

    Regards Raymond

PS you can delete de SWF file (thanks).
