Incremental APMS5 projects files - workaround

Following on from my comments last week about the limitations of saving an APMS5 project as a new file name, I have discovered a simple workaround for the time being - and it seems to work fine. (Nobody really wants to move 650Mb of data everytime you want to save a project under a different filename)!

Using Windows Explorer, locate the APMS5 project file, copy and paste it and then rename it [Windows Xp will automatically rename the file for you]. Start APMS5 and then open the newly named Project file.

Then, should you need to go back to an earlier version of the project file, there it still is. Just run Preview to update the Autoplay files.

I can't understand why this feature isn't integrated from within APMS5? Is there any reason why this workaround shouldn't be followed.

    Cheers,

PS I am quite impressed with APMS 5, and look forward to it's deployment. Any bonus licences available for hardworking charity workers?

Thank you for your suggestion. I've submitted it to our developers to consider, however I believe it was submitted once before. We'll see what their thoughts are.
