    Oops Can Anyone Help???

I have just downloaded the trial version of the software and have to say that it seems exactly what i'm looking for, i have been trying to crate a simple project which will allow me to place a number of freeware programmes onto a disc, similar to the cover discs you recieve on magazines, i thought i had managed to acheive it, only when i went into the distribution folder and clicked on autorun, i recieved a message telling me that there was a "General extraction error Located at IMP1", I have tried to find the problem without success, does anyone know if there are any step by step project guides out there, or can anyone tell me where i am going wrong, any assistance would be much appreciated.

I have never seen this error before. Does this error occur immediately after you run the autorun.exe or does it occur when you try to access a file that you have linked to?

I am sure that we can solve this problem.

    Smile RE: Your Reply

    Hi Adam,
Thanks for replting, it does occur immediately after running the autorun.exe, what is realy annoying is that if i open the project, go to the Project Tab, then the preview, it does exactly as i am expecting. Hope this has been of some use.

    Many thanks

I imagine that this has to do with one of the files that you are distributing. I think that the best course of action is to either post a screenshot of the error here or send it to support@indigorose.com.

What happens if you simply start a project (one of the templates perhaps) and then do a build? Does this error still occur? I am asking this to try to determine if this is a system specific issue or a file based issue.

You could also start from scratch and simply do a build after you add each file. This will at least let you know what file is causing the error (if it is a file problem).

This is a long shot, but I recently had a similar problem. It went away after I cleared all my temporary folders. In Internet Explorer, and regular OS Temp folders. Like I said, it’s a long shot, but pretty quick to check out. Hope it helps.
