Shortcut added to desktop

Is there a way to add a shortcut of the file that is launched with AutoPlay? I have a customer who is requesting that we add a shortcut of the file name to the desktop once the CD-ROM open is selected. Any suggestions appreciated.

If the user has a standard cd-rom drive letter, you could create the shortuct on your own system, then use a batch file to copy it over. If the cdrom drive changes or unsure of the letter, u probably will need an install program. I can use my install to make custom small silent installs -- thats how i would do it
Im sure there is another way though... maybe reg entries
