Wallpaper ???

Here's my question, is it possible to automaticlly set a wallpaper on someones computer? I was asked to make a CD-ROM and custumer would like to have a page with few small thumbnails that represent wallpapers in different sizes and after clicking on one of the thumbnails it will set user wallpaper to that image. Can it be done? How?

I think you can do it this way.

The first action would be to create a folder on the hard drive of the computer and place the bitmap or jpeg file in it. You could use a batch file to create the folder and copy the file from the CD to the folder.

Then the next action would be to modify the registry. The key you need to change would be

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop
and modify the "wallpaper" entry.

PS. You wouldn't really need to create the folder but if you install several wallpapers, it's nice to keep them all in one place.
