    Converting Video files to AVI

My question is " What software would you recommend to convert Quicktime Video Files created by Director 8 on an iMac to AVI files to be used as introduction videos on AMS.

    Thanks,

    Don

Cool Re: Converting Video files to AVI

    Don,

I use Adobe Premiere. It imports and exports to a variety of formats. Only problem: it's expensive. But if you do a lot of work in this area then take the plunge. Other programs might work to like: Avid Cinema, VideoWave IV, etc.

Oh yeah, there is a learning curve here too. And the setup and compatibility problems. But you have to figure how far you want to go. In any case, good luck!!
