Hello -
I have a customer who is requesting a password on a setup file, which I know how to do.
He is asking if the password is obtainable by reading the .exe file with a disk-editor program. Basically, I am asking if it is possible to obtain the password simply by opening up the executible and viewing it with a viewer?

No, the passwords are stored in an encrypted form.
