Hello, please help!
I'm a new user of SF6 and I have a problem I don't manage to solve.
I've created a setup program, wich detects if the software is already installed on the computer (even if it's the same version or a previous one). When it is, the setup proposes first to uninstall the other program.
I also put a file "Installation_%ProductVer%.txt" in my "Installation" folder (%ProductVer% is the currebt version of my software).
When no version is installed on the computer, everything goes OK and the file "installation_%ProductVer%.txt" is created. But I have a problem when the setup uninstalls first the previous soft, this file (installation_%ProductVer%.txt) is no longer created!

please tell me if there's a way to correct this!!

Hi,

How are you putting the file: "Installation_%ProductVer%.txt" onto the user's hard drive? Are there any conditions associated with the file? If so what are there?

Also when do you run the uninstall?
