Thread: Setup.exe without crviewer.dll (CR8.5)

I have a VB6 Project with div. Reports (CR 8.5), if I compile the Setup.exe-File (CR8.5 Runtime incl.) and install it on a Client PC the Message comes up "crviewer.dll or any component not registered". What can I do to solve the Problem???

There are several DLL's in CR Runtime you will have to register while installing. Turn to the "Advanced" tab and check "DllRegisterServer" for the app. files. Consult CR runtime doc to find out what files to register.

You could of cause also use the CR85 runtime module instead of fiddling around with the details yourself:
