Grin build fails when files are remote

I am using version6.0 with the latest patch v.1.0.0.2.
I am trying to build an install with files that are located on the server. The install gets about halfway through the files before it appears to time out. There is no error message it just quits. I had no problems with this same operation in setup factory 5.0.

    Thanks.

Re: build fails when files are remote

The version you indicated is the version of the patch program used to create the patch.

While in the Setup Factory design environment, go to HELP->ABOUT SETUP FACTORY. What full version number is displayed? The most recent version is 6.0.0.4.

This could be due to a number of reasons, such as someone else having a lock on one of the files at that moment, some permission settings, being momentarily disconnected from the network etc. The best thing to do would be to copy them locally and add them from there.

Version 6.0.0.4 will not build when files are across a network.
I reinstalled version version 5.0.1.6 and built basically the same project and had no problems.
