    View a pdf w/o installing?

Is there a way to have a user view a pdf document that is archived in a setup.exe without having it installed on their computer. I like the fact that there is an expiration security option. That hopefully will lock the pdf after say 90 days.

I'm not really sure what you are trying to do here, but one thing is for sure, you cannot access a file that is archived in a setup without installing it.

Something else to consider; the expiration feature prevents the setup.exe file itself from being executed after the expiration date. This only applies to the executable, not the contents that are being installed. For example, if the user installed the files before the expiration date, all of the contents would run forever, but if the user tried to install using the executable after the installation date, it would not run.

I'm not really sure what the contents of your install are, but you could make two separate installs, one with only the PDF document and one with everything else.

I hope this information is useful. If you could possibly provide a little more information as to what you would like to accomplish, I might be able to help you further.

    You have answered my question.
What i wanted was to have an archived pdf file open from inside the setup.exe without actualy installing the pdf file onto a users hard drive that way i could have the pdf securely
locked into the setup.exe after an experation date has passed.
