Dependency module: SQL Server 2008 R2 Express Edition (Database Only)

As some evaluation users complained in the feedback form that there is no ready-made dependency for SQL Server 2008 R2, I decided to invest some hours into this. I can now offer three dependency modules for SQL Server 2008 R2 Express - for one 32-bit platforms, another for 64-bit platforms, and a third dependency for both, running the proper runtime according to the platform that was detected. For smaller projects, adding something from 132 MB to 217 MB of runtime installers to your setup may be a problem, so it seemed wise to offer all possible choices.

The installer for this dependency module will also update the scripts of the .NET 2.0 Framework and Windows Installer 4.5 modules. It will also detect which runtimes are currently missing on your computer, and attempt to download these files.

This dependency module should work with both Setup Factory 8 and Setup Factory 9, and you can download it from this address, where you can find additional info abouts its proper use.
