Hey Bruce,

Looks nice, congratulations!

I got a Canon D7 last fall (replaced the old, but faithful, Canon D20) and if I've learned anything about the DSLR's is that be sure to shoot everything as RAW photos.

You might know this, but for the benefit of anyone else, jpg's save photos with only 256 shades of each R, G, B (16.8 mil colors); saving in RAW format saves 65,536 shades of each R, G, B. That's billions of colors!!

The human eye can only distinguish about 10 million colors, but the real importance comes in when Photoshop-ing the photos. You'll avoid the color banding that plagues so many otherwise awesome! photos.
