    CPU slowdown utility

    Hey all,

Wondering if anyone knows of a CPU slow down utility - other than Windows!

In developing apps I find that sometimes running on older machines there is noticeable delays or slowdowns that I don't experience on my develop machine. I have an older laptop to test for this, but if i could do something on my dev machine would be great.

For anyone interested in Virtualization, I tried VMWare running an image of XP SP3 on my Win 7 x64 machine and it works great!

Now if there was a way to simulate a slower CPU or even a slower GPU that would be perfect!

    Thanks,
    Dean

Make a computer slower Step by Step:

1: Invite Bill Gates on to your computer (Windows ME/Vista) for the best impact.
2: Install Nortan and say yes to all the toolbars and adware is as to offer.
    3: Disable Nortan
4: Disable your software and hardware firewall and enable DMZ
5: Install a wamp/desktop viewer/tiger or real vnc and post all your urls IP's on ever know hacker forum and tell them
    it as candy.
6: Using a ISP linked with or from BT
7: How you wants the CPU jump and die open the good old windows media player and have it play and DMA protected song you love.

    There you are slower PC
